Hi, we're Bhumika and Rohan.

We're a sister and brother running a kurti brand from a very small town . That's the whole team. No agency, no fancy office — just the two of us, our tailor, and a lot of late nights.

Sayuri started with one idea: kurtis that don't feel like kurtis.

Bhumika wanted to design pieces you'd reach for on a regular Tuesday — corsets, halters, deep backs, soft fits that go with jeans as easily as they go with palazzos. Kurtis that feel like you, whether you're heading to brunch, a date, work, or your cousin's mehendi.

The first kurti she made was Mahi. Mahi sold out three times. That's when we knew there were other women who felt the same way.

Today, we've shipped to women across India. Bhumika designs and styles. Rohan handles operations and keeps the chaos in check. We both pack every single order on the floor of our home, and we write the customer's name on each one ourselves.

We're not the biggest brand. We're not trying to be. We're trying to make the kurti you actually reach for — the one that lives at the front of your closet, not the back.
